Patricia Donahoe has extensive business experience in Catholic institutions. She served as Program Director for Homeland Foundation/ Wethersfield Institute in New York City, NY; as Editor/Assistant to the Officers at Catholics United for the Faith for the monthly publication Laywitness, the yearly religious art calendar, and Ignatius Press’ Faith and Life Series; as a Member of the Holy See Delegation to the United Nations; as a member the Board of Directors for the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia and for Catholics United for the Faith; as Teacher and Advisor for the Narnia Clubs, a catechetical program in New York City, NY; as a Founding Board Member of the New York Catholic Forum; and currently as a Director of the Good Counsel Homes, Inc., in NY and NJ.
Mrs. Donahoe and her husband Thomas C. Donahoe, and family reside in Morris County. She has home schooled for 9 years and was a teacher in the Little Way Homeschool Cooperative in Middlesex, NJ.
Professor Colombo teaches courses in corporate, securities, and contract law at Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law. His scholarship has focused largely on issues of securities fraud, corporate law, and financial regulation, and has done so via the application of natural law theory, economic theory, moral philosophy, and neuroscience. More recently, his scholarship has addressed the constitutional rights of business entities.
In 2014 he authored a book on the subject, entitled “The First Amendment and the Business Corporation,” published by Oxford University Press.
Professor Colombo graduated, magna cum laude, from NYU School of Law. At NYU, Professor Colombo was a member of the NYU Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Immediately following graduation, Professor Colombo clerked for Judge Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Professor Colombo lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and five children.
Mr. Bruno is a Surrogate Judge in Somerset County since 2001. He has held multiple positions in county administration. Mr. Bruno had also been active in municipal government in Bound Brook, NJ, serving in numerous capacities including Borough Council member and Commissioner of Police, Fire,& Safety, and Commissioner of Economic Development.
His diverse interests: a member of the NJ Italian-American Heritage Commission Advisory Board; a former Radio Announcer for WDVR FM, host of the Rural Radio Show and Heartlands Hayride; a Board Member of the Bound Brook Arts Theater and of the New Jersey Association of Counties; and a member of the Society for Industrial Archaeology, Crafts of New Jersey, the Society of G.K. Chesterton, the Knights of Columbus (Somerville Council #1432), the Somerville Elks Lodge 1068, and the Federalist Society; and a Past President of the National College of Probate Judges.
Mr. Bruno also served in the US Navy from 1965-1968 on the USS Randolph.
He is a resident of Branchburg, NJ; he is married and has two children.
John Robben has over 35 years of professional business management experience in Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Information Technology, Client Relationship Management, Contracts, Product Management, Business Development and Human Resources. He’s currently employed as Director of Professional Technical Services for Orion Innovation (NJ).
As a life-long Catholic, John has served in many roles supporting Catholic parishes and schools including Parish and Finance Councils. He is former Board of Trustees Member and President, Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori School, Cincinnati, OH.
He is currently a 3rd Degree Member of Knights of Columbus Jubilee Council 3294 – Flemington, NJ; and Adult Counselor for St. Tarcisius Circle 5523 Columbian Squires.
John holds a Bachelor of Science (BSBA) Degree in Business Information Systems from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
John’s wife, Cathy, is a former Tutor at Sedes Sapientiae School. They reside in Morris County, NJ with their four children.
Dr. Eckart holds a PharmD degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Northwestern University.
Currently, Dr. Eckart works for Sanofi as a medical writer. Dr. Eckart resides in Hunterdon County with his wife and son.
Mrs. Eckart graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an MS in Cellular and Molecurla Biology. Her BS in Biology was granted by the University of Notre Dame. Mrs. Eckart recently taught Biology and Algebra II at Sedes Sapientiae School and middle school science at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Boonton. She and Joe just welcomed their second child this fall 2020.
Aileen founded Sedes Sapientiae School in 2013 laying the groundwork for opening our doors in 2015. During this time, she was an Adjunct Professor at County College of Morris, Randolph, NJ, teaching composition. She has also taught Medieval and 16th to 20th Century British and American Literature at the American Christian School in Succasunna, NJ. Additionally, she home schooled her five children for 14 years. Her teaching experience includes tutoring writing at Wyoming Catholic College as well as teaching literature at home schooled cooperative.
She, her husband Mario, and family reside in Morris County.
Agnes is Assistant Professor of Natural Sciences at Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ. Previously, she was Deputy of the Virology Department, Senior Scientist, and Virologist at Gibraltar Laboratories in Fairfield, NJ.
Agnes’ other professional appointments include: Senior Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute in Union, NJ; Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Medicine, University of Maryland; and Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland. Agnes earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland, majoring in Molecular Biology and minoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She graduated from Lajos Kossuth University in Debrecen, Hungary with an M.Sc. in Chemistry and Physics. Agnes enjoys singing, painting, photography, playing piano, writing poetry, hiking and attending spiritual pilgrimages.
Dr. Berki resides in Morris County.
